Empathy
Students are encouraged to express themselves and support each other's expression through their work, conversation, and regular reflection. Teachers will validate student voices and experiences, celebrating student expression and growth.
Compassion
Students are recognized to have valid and unique experiences worthy to be heard and understood. Teachers will advocate for their students in all aspects of education, from lesson planning and differentiation to grading and parent-teacher conferences.
