Portfolio-based Assessment...
Learning is a process of growth. This growth happens at different rates, through different activities, and with different sparks of motivation or interest. Through portfolio-based assessment, student learning can be easily observed by teachers, parents, and students. The use of portfolio-based assessments allows students to reference and build upon their previous work. As students gain understanding and agency over their own skill development, they practice critical skills of self-assessment which will help them for the rest of their educational career.
